Woman Finds a Shot Dog in Her Yard

Port St. Lucie police are trying to find out how a pit bull ended up with a bullet in her back.
Animal control was called after a woman found the black dog lying in her yard with blood all over it's body.
She told them the dog came right up her. The pit bull was taken to "Animal Emergency Center" in Fort Pierce where, amazingly, she's expected to recover.
Police don't know who shot her, but the owners have been reunited with their pet.
They say the dog had been missing for days.
