Law enforcement launch 12 Days of Fugitives
Law-enforcement agencies will unveil a campaign today aimed at rounding up prison escapees in Florida.
"The '12 Days of Fugitives' campaign is designed to reach the public during the holiday season when investigators believe wanted men are most likely to contact friends, family and loved ones and potentially be more visible in the community," officials said in news release.
Officials are expected to release more details during a news conference at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's regional operation center in Tampa.
FDLE Commissioner Gerald Bailey and Florida Department of Corrections Secretary Walt McNeil are expected to attend.
