One of the Dolphins main foes in the AFC east has added a big name.
The New York Jets signed running back LaDainian Tomlinson to a two-year contract, beefing up an offense that ranked No. 1 in rushing last season.
The 2006 NFL MVP was cut last month by San Diego and chose New York over Minnesota after visiting the Vikings on Thursday.
Tomlinson, who will turn 31 in June is expected to back up Shonn Greene, who became the starter after Thomas Jones was released last week.
