Perkins employee arrested for stealing bacon

A Perkins restaurant employee was arrested after a fellow co-worker watched her put 3 pounds of bacon in her purse.
Stuart Police found the bacon in Luann McKinnley's purse when they arrived at the Perkins in Stuart.
McKinnley, 52, first told police her name was Anne Barrett and was charged with theft. While booking McKinnley in jail, officers found drugs and contraband on her and discovered that she was McKinnley, not Anne Barrett.
She has been charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,500.
