Endeavor launch video

Woman behind Endeavour launch video hopes it could help land a job

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The last thing Stefanie Gordon expected to see out of the window of her Delta airlines flight from New York to West Palm Beach Monday morning...the space shuttle Endeavour bursting through the clouds.

"It was really interesting to see the shuttle from a totally different perspective that no one ever gets to see," said Gordon. "I had my iPhone in my hand I opened the camera app and just started taking pictures and this video, posted it on twitter when I landed."

What happened after she landed is beyond Gordon's comprehension, almost immediately her video and pictures went viral on the internet.

"It was picked up and tweeted by NASA, Jim Cantore of the weather channel now everybody's picking it up .Its been all over the world," said Gordon.

"It was on the cover of the St. Pete Times and the Washington Post," said Gordon.

And since she posted the pictures, Gordon's twitter followers nearly tripled from about 1,800 to almost 5,000 people overnight.

Gordon is visiting her parents in Lake Worth, she flew in for her mom's birthday, hardly anticipating all this would lead to her 15 minutes of fame. But she hopes the media attention will help her find a job. The 33-year-old has a masters in sports marketing from NYU and a background in event planning and is recently unemployed.
