Pizza Record for Firefighter

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A local pizza parlor is hoping to make a difference while breaking a tasty record.
This week we told you about St. Lucie County firefighter Allen Civita whose Palm Bay home burned to the ground during the wildfires.

Tomorrow, (05/17)  the folks who work at Big Apple Pizza and Pasta in Ft. Pierce are serving up a slice of kindness.  They will try to break the record for the world's longest line of pizzas by serving up 700 pies.
The current record is 611.
Some of the money raised from the event will go to the Civita family.
If you want to attend,  Big Apple pizza is on 35th Street in Ft. Pierce across from the Indian River Community College.
The event runs from 11am-4pm.
