Lightning Sparks House Fire

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The weather creates a dangerous situation for Martin County firefighters.
You can see what's left of this Hobe Sound mobile home.
A lightning bolt hit a nearby power pole, setting the trailer ablaze.
As firefighters fought the flames, the transformer exploded and live power lines fell dangerously close.
The crew had to pull back until an FPL crew shut off the power.
No one was hurt.
The owners of the home are in Canada.
