FAU students plan parking protest

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Students at Florida Atlantic University are planning a protest on parking.

FAU topped 28,000 and students this year and they say it has caused a parking nightmare. Many of the students are complaining they can't even make it to class on time.

This semester students have been raising money for more parking, even making t-shirts to address the problem.

Protesting students will wear those shirts tomorrow.

The university is responding, saying the school is "in the process of redesigning an empty lot which will be accessible for students in December."

FAU is also working on two other parking lots, which will be open for students when they return for the spring semester in January.
