Woman gets three years for selling fake driver's licenses
DELRAY BEACH -- A state worker who took money to issue fake driver's licenses has been convicted.
Jashonda Kaliha Scott pleaded guilty and was convicted on three counts of unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior, three counts of unauthorized issuance of driver's license, one count of official misconduct and one count of conspiracy to commit unlawful compensation or reward.
She'll serve two years in prison and three years probation.
Investigators said Scott was an examiner at the Delray Beach Driver’s License office and participated in the ongoing issuance of fraudulent driver’s licenses.
