October 27, 2009 1:04 PM
More than 3,000 people living in Century Village must boil water until Thursday evening, county officials said.
Water to about 3,264 homes was cut from about 1:25 p.m. to 7:35 p.m. Monday to conduct routine maintenance, the utility said.
Residents must boil water for at least three minutes, then let it cool, before eating or drinking.
The affected areas of Century Village are Plymouth, Easthampton, Salisbury, Waltham, Norwich, Coventry, Sheffield, and Strathford, and the medical building, the utility said.
