The incident was reported at the Kwik Stop convenience store at Military and 45th Street in West Palm Beach. Abdallah Azzam of Loxahatchee is charged with filing a false police report. Cops say Azzam called 911, telling them that he was in the parking lot selling rugs. When a man with a gun, carjacked a family of five in front of him, including a small girl strapped in a car seat. Deputies launched a search, even calling in a helicopter to assist. About three hours later, the teen admitted he made up the story.
