Fourth on Flagler
Comments 0 | Recommend 0It was a free fun-filled event in Downtown West Palm Beach Friday night. 4th on Flagler commemorating 2 decades of fun.
The 5 hour event started with a Flag Ceremony recognizing military men and woman.
Other activities included a Firefigher Splash and Dash Skills Competition. Different fire departments competed in wet and wacky games that put their skills to the test.
There were 3 stages filled with nothing but music all night long. Plus, food and drinks galore and a Kids area.
The whole point of the day was to remember what 4th of July is all about. West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel says, "Stop the barbeques for a moment and think about why we celebrate 4th of July. The freedoms that we enjoy as Americans. Be really blessed to be apart of this community."
Perhaps the most anticipated part of the night, the 25 minute fireworks show.
After the show, a 40 minutes concert was performed by the band Simple Plan.
