Guardian Angels Fight Gangs

The Guardian Angels are gearing up to take on the gangs in Lake Worth. They began learning how to handle themselves out on the streets from martial arts instructor, Sean Kelley, who was part of the original local chapter of Guardian Angels back in 1986. The mayor of Lake Worth gave the Angels the green light, in the wake of a number of gang related shootings. The volunteers are also getting assistance from the Treasure Coast chapter of the Guardian Angels. The Guardian Angels was founded by Curtis Sliwa, in 1979, in New York City.
