Brothers charged with animal cruelty

Two brothers in Ft. Pierce face charges of animal cruelty. Investigators found 22-year-old Jerzell Daughtry and 31-year-old Ezekiel Daughtry with dogs that were extremely malnourished on North 31st Street. Eight dogs in total were taken to the Treasure Coast Animal Hospital. The brothers were also charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
