Teen Back Home After Alligator Attack

A teen who lost his arm in an alligator attack is recovering at his Okeechobee County home. Kasey Edwards says losing his left arm has made him more thankful for his family, friends, and life itself. The 18 year old lost his arm while swimming near Lake Okeechobee Sunday morning. He says the 11 foot alligator bit down on his arm. The gator tried to pull him under five times. Finally, Kasey tried to gauge its eyes, giving himself enough time to get on shore. Kasey says now his focus is on spending time with his loved ones while preparing for college. He wants to be a civil engineer and nothing will stop him from achieving his goals.
