Gang Members Arrested

Twelve gang members are off the streets, thanks to a statewide grand jury. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's office arrested the people belonging to the Top 6 Gang, including the leader, Futo Charles. The arrests are a culmination of two years investigating by state, federal and local agencies. Some of the arrests stemmed from crimes that happened more than a year ago.  Investigators believe the gang members are responsible for 41 shootings and 14 homicides including the shootout inside the Boynton Beach Mall two years ago that left one person dead. In addition, detectives say they were part of the shooting in Lake Worth last year that killed three people and injured four.

Investigators expect to make more arrests. They are looking for another suspect now and have other warrants for others.

Right now, the gang members arrested are behind bars. A judge set their bond at a million dollars each.
