Florida doctor arrested for solicitation of a minor on-line
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Florida's CyberCrime Unit has arrested a Tallahassee doctor for allegedly soliciting someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex. Agents arrested Stuart Flanders Tillman, an anesthesiologist, after he allegedly engaged in numerous online chat sessions with undercover investigators, posing as a young girl.
Thirty-five-year-old Stuart Tillman was arrested Wednesday after police say Tillman sought out the investigators in online chatrooms and believed he was talking with young girls.
On Wednesday, police used a warrant to search Tillman's home and seize a laptop computer. Agents with the attorney general's CyberCrime Unit arrested him at the scene and he was booked into the Leon County Jail.
State spokeswoman Sandi Copes says the arrest highlights the reality that anybody, even doctors, can be child predators.
Tillman is charged with 10 felony counts of solicitation of a minor. Each count carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison.
