WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A fourth arrest in a violent attack in Lake Worth before Christmas.
Today 16-year-old Brian Maiale made his first appearance in adult court.
He's charged with attempted murder and kidnapping.
The judge ordered him held with no bail.
Back in December a man suffering from gunshot wounds was pulled over along I-95. The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office says Julian Thorpe was the victim of a brutal attack.
Investigators say a group of people thought Thorpe had stolen from them, so they held Thorpe in a Lake Worth apartment where he was hit with a bat, beaten and shot during a struggle.
Police had earlier charged Julio and Wanda Nene and Wanda's boyfriend, Dayne Williams.
