Shuttle blasts off
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Shuttle Endeavour is set to arrive at the International Space Station on Wednesday with a new room and observation deck.
Endeavour lit up the night sky in Florida early today as the spacecraft and its six astronauts rocketed into orbit.
It's likely to be the last nighttime launch for the shuttle program. Only four more shuttle flights are left.
The Obama Administration has yet to provide specifics on what happens after the last mission this fall. NASA's back-to-the-moon Constellation program is a casualty under the new budget plan.
