Toddler Dangles From Carnival Ride

A family's night of fun at a carnival turns terrifying.

A woman was carrying her 2-year old daughter off a ride when it suddenly started back up, trapping the two of them.  The mother had to dangle by one hand while holding her toddler in the other arm. She then dropped the girl, who was caughtby fairgoers.  

"I let go of her and she grabbed my shirt, so I had to pry her hands off my shirt and let her fall."

Two-year-old Gracie fell safely into the arms of a stranger below. However, mom had to wait for a ladder to save her. CBS12 is told this is the first incident that has happened like this at the fair in Port Orange in the past 13 years. They think its operator error.
