A two-year old little boy was found wandering near a busy highway in Port St. Lucie Blvd, East of US 1 this afternoon.

A witness found the child by the highway, which happened to be near a canal full of alligators.

The toddler had been left with his babysitter, 27-year old Brandy Albright. She was babysitting the child on Seafury Lane in Port St. Lucie. Albright is being booked into jail, charged with child neglect. It turns out she was sleeping when the little boy wandered off. Authorities found Albright passed out on a toilet in the home.

An oxycodone bottle was found in the home.

The little boy was taken to the Department of Children and Families and is now back with his mother.
