"Fake Cop" Arrested
A police officer may flash his badge and tell you to slow down, but he's not going to try and run you over with his vehicle.
Police say John T. Colucci did just that, after a driver cut him off on his motorcycle. Colucci is accused of flashing a security badge and loaded glock 30 at the driver and telling him he was a cop.
A witness called 911 to report Colucci's behavior, and police say Colucci then chased down the witness.
"No police officers would do what this gentlemen did, taking his motorcycle, spinning it around and trying to go head-on into another person--that is just not conducive to what an officer would do."
After the game of chicken, where the victim pulled over terrified of a head-on collision, Colucci was tracked down by the police at Self Defense Gun Shop and Pistol range on Village Green Drive.
He's charged with impersonating an officer, pulling a concealed weapon and reckless driving.
