Palm Beach County will mark its 100-year anniversary with an historic promotional campaign funded by up to $2 million. To celebrate its founding in April 1909, a countywide "1909 Founders Package" will be offered at participating hotels, resorts and B&Bs. Depending on the property; guests stay two, three or four nights and get an additional night for only $19.09 through December 2009.
"As far as anniversaries go, 100 years is a proud milestone," stated Jorge Pesquera, president & CEO, Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau. "We are thrilled that over 40 hotels, B&Bs and even iconic resorts like The Breakers and Boca Raton Resort & Club have all joined together to offer the 1909 Founders Package and promotions to honor the year Palm Beach County was founded."
