Operation Medicine Cabinet takes in thousands of unused, expired pills across the county

Thousands of unused pills were collected by law enforcement, pharmacy students and volunteers Saturday, during Operation Medicine Cabinet. Investigators accepted 235,161 pills at five locations across the county.

Here's the breakdown:

Boca Raton Town Center Mall - 21,932

Boynton Beach Mall - 47,700

Palm Springs CVS - 50,046

Wellington CVS - 53,896

Palm Beach Gardens CVS - 61,587
