Detectives investigating stabbing in Jensen Beach

Detectives with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office are trying to piece together an overnight stabbing at an apartment complex in Jensen Beach.

Around 3 a.m., police found a 24 year old black man stabbed in the arm pit at the Stuart Pointe Apartments. He was taken to the Lawnwood Trauma Center for what appears to be a non-life threatening injury. 

The man told Deputies on-scene that he was stabbed by a stranger described as a “tall black man.” He provided detectives with no other details.
