Local GOP campaign chairs 'charging their troops'

FLORIDA -- Everyone is keeping an eye on Saturday's South Carolina Republican primary. But don't forget early voting in Florida's primary starts Saturday as well.

Local representatives of the Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich campaigns tell us they'll have volunteers at all early voting locations.

The Romney campaign says it got a huge boost when their candidate appeared in Palm Beach County last week.

Next week Gingrich plans at least four stops in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

"I think it'll charge our troops more than they already are," said Tami Donnally, Gingrich Chair

"I know other candidates are coming here, and there's a lot of excitement. But Gov. Romney developed a huge turnout," said Melissa Nash, Romney Co-Chair

Rick Santorum also has an appearance next week in our area.

For early voting locations go to your county's Supervisor of Elections website. Primary election day is January 31.
