Madoff victims will be paid $530 million

The trustee liquidating Bernie Madoff's assets said the Securities Investor Protection Corporation will pay out $530 million to people scammed in the investment scheme headed by the former Palm Beacher.
Roughly 2,300 people fell victim to the former Ponzi scheme, suffering losses of more than $21 billion.
Madoff is serving 150 years in federal prison. Many of his victims live in Palm beach county.
