Investigators searching for a man who stabbed two last night
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PORT SALERNO -- Investigators are searching for a man who stabbed two people last night.
Denny Evangelista and Robert Ruiz were visiting a woman in the 5000 block of Primrose Avenue in Port Salerno when they got into a fight with another man. Evangelista was stabbed once in the chest and Ruiz was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen. Evangelista and Ruiz left the residence on Primrose and returned to Ruiz's home on Isabelita Avenue, where they called 911.
The attacker fled. No weapon has been recovered.
Evangelista was transported by air to St. Mary's Medical Center. Ruiz was transported by ambulance to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
The attacker is described as approximately 28 to 30 years old, 5-foot-8-inches, 180 pounds, with a muscular build and a shaved head. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.
