Port of Palm Beach casino gambling boat approved

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- About 150 new jobs are officially coming to shore at the Port of Palm Beach, and an estimated $1 million in revenue.
Monday port commissioners unanimously approved a new gambling cruise ship with the Black Diamond Casino of Jupiter.
The new ship will provide casino gambling on twice daily trips, sailing out into international waters three miles offshore. Weekends could have three sailings. The agreement lasts 10 years with an option for five more.
The launch date is March 15.
