Delray Beach woman arrested for being a Craigslist "masseuse"
After a joint investigation with the Delray Beach Police Department, Natasha Monica Gurfinkiel was arrested in connection with the unlicensed practice of being a masseuse, cocaine possession and prostitution.
Gurfinkiel came to the attention of detectives when she posted an ad on “Craigslist.” This ad was discovered during a routine survey of Craigslist, designed to find people who are providing unlicensed health care services and using the site to facilitate other criminal activity.
Ultimately, an investigation revealed that Gurfinkiel was providing massage services at her Delray Beach home. Both Gurfinkiel and her home massage establishment were unlicensed.
On Wednesday, March 25, an undercover operation was executed at her home. Gurfinkiel was arrested after she provided a massage to a detective and made an overt offer to perform a sex act with him. During a subsequent search of her residence, a small quantity of cocaine was discovered.
The health care and narcotic charges are third-degree felonies. The prostitution charge is a second-degree misdemeanor.
