A state program was launched today to help first time home buyers here in Florida.
The program offers an $8,000 tax credit upfront to help with the cost of an FHA insured home.
The state put 31 million dollars towards the program. Now Floridians are getting a first look at how that money will be distributed across our area.
Palm Beach County is getting more than one million dollars. St. Lucie is getting nearly $395,000 dollars.
Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee counties are getting $350,000 dollars.
