Protesters take the heathcare debate to the front door of Humana

WEST PALM BEACH, FL--A afternoon protest underway in West Palm Beach. Healthcare reform driving the debate. Local protesters took their argument to the corporate offices of insurance provider Humana. Dozens of people sent their healthcare message loud and clear.

The protest is part of national effort to end insurance abuse.

"I feel everyone should be entitled to have healthcare." said Nancy Trevino who was protesting at the sit-in.

Today protesters called on Humana to make major changes with their insurance practices.

This is what Humana had to say to protesters and our camera's.

"We support healthcare reform this year that would guarantee coverage for everyone and wouldn't require people with preexisting conditions to pay higher premiums," said Mitch Lubitz who is a spokesperson for Humana.

After insurance companies message, protesters began their sit-in.

"Without a public option the insurance companies will not ever make it affordable for the average working person, said Joan Watkevicz who was part of the protest.

Six people who were part of the sit-in were arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department for trespassing. The protest ended peacefully.
