Unemployment Numbers

It's one of the biggest layoffs yet.
Bank of America says it expects to eliminate 30 to 35-thousand jobs over the next three years.
The company blames the weak economy as well as the absorption of investment bank Merrill Lynch, which it agreed to buy in September.
This on the same day it's reported that new claims for jobless benefits has hit a 26 year high.
Businesses have slashed nearly 2 million jobs this year.
Economists believe it could reach 3 million by 20-10.
