---------------------------------------------
Northbound I-95 lanes in Port St. Lucie are closed following a tractor trailer roll over accident.
The Northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County are closed at this time following a roll over of a crash of a tractor trailer about 1 mile south of State Road 70 also known as Okeechobee Road. The tractor that flipped was carrying cement pavers that are now scattered across the highway.
The St. Lucie Sheriff's Office has called in the DOT to look into the seven mile creek bridge that might have been compromised by the cement pavers. The driver was ground transported to a local hospital.
Traffic is presently being diverted onto Midway Road.
The Sheriff's Office will advise when northbound lanes of I-95 will reopen.
St. Lucie County Sheriff's Deputies are on scene with Florida Highway Patrol Troopers.
