Jupiter Police Promoting "Lock It or lose It" Campaign
Police in Jupiter hand out small flyers reminding people of ways to avoid being robbed and burglarized.

It's a new crime fighting program with some unusual math; 1 + 1 = 10. Jupiter Police are handing out flyers and door hangers with that saying. It means that it takes one minute to lock, plus one minute to secure to have a 10% reduction in victim assisted crimes. These are the kinds of crimes, where people leave valuables in plain sight or leave their homes or cars unlocked, making them easy targets for thieves. Police in Jupiter will be handing these flyers and door hangers to residents to remind them of this particular kind of theft, and keep them safe from thieves.
