Meal Deals: Which Grocery Store Sells the Cheapest Dairy

I went to Publix, Winn Dixie and Wal Mart on the same day in my neighborhood with a grocery list. I compared the prices in the dairy section. The cheapest gallon of milk at Publix went for $4.49. It was the same price at Winn Dixie. At Wal Mart it was only $4.19.
Butter at Publix was $.98. It was $.87 at Winn Dixie. It's another win for Wal Mart with just $.62.
Looking at eggs a dozen at Publix went for $1.69. Winn Dixie was the highest at $1.82. The cheapest again was Wal Mart at $1.44.
8 ounces of Shredded cheddar at Publix was $2.89. Winn Dixie had it for $2.48. And once again Wal Mart is the lowest at just $2.22. Adding up the total bill Publix came in at $10.02. Winn Dixie was $9.66, but Wal Mart beat the competition with $8.47. Wal Mart by far gets the meal deal award for dairy.
