Oops!: Biden Introduced as McCain

"No matter what your gender, race or religion, please help me in welcoming the next vice president of the united states, John McCain!"
    
Oops! A slip of the tongue at a rally for Joe Biden in Tampa. The man introducing the Democratic vice presidential candidate asked the crowd to welcome "John McCain."  He meant to say Joe Biden. The audience continued t he clapping, so it is possible many people didn't even catch the mistake.

In fact, the man didn't realize the error until later after he had left the arena and someone called him on his cell phone. He said it was just an honest mistake and he's getting a kick out of the fact he is now a star on You-Tube.
