Meal Deals: Cheap Chili

Chef David Pantone with the Florida Culinary Institute shows us a cheap, but tasty way to make chili. In a pressure cooker cook stew meat for 45 minutes. Chili makes meat go a long way. With one pound of meat you can expect to get 6 portions.
Fast Cooking Chili - Pressure Cooker0
1 tablespoon oil
1 pound beef stew meat, cut into small pieces, seasoned with salt and pepper
1 package of your favorite chili spice mixture
The mixtures usually call for 1 can of tomato sauce and some water or beef stock. Follow the directions on the package
Preheat pressure heater over medium-high heat. Add oil. Add diced beef and brown on all sides. Add tomato sauce, water or stock, and spices as directed on the package. Secure lid on pressure cook and cook for 4 minutes. Turn off heat and let rest for $minutes, or until all pressure has escaped. Remove lid and serve.
