Police look for victims of medicial fraud
MIAMI (AP) - Authorities in Miami say they hope more victims of
a woman who has been accused of practicing medicine without a
license will come forward now that the woman has been arrested.
Miami-Dade police arrested Ana Young on Thursday. Young faces
several charges, including two counts of practicing medicine
without a license. The Miami-Dade County Women's Detention Center
says she was been released on $37,000 bond on Friday. It was not
clear if Young had an attorney.
According to a news release, authorities started the
investigation after receiving two complaints about Young. Since her
arrest, additional victims have come forward.
