Second Arrest in Teen's Murder
Victim's girlfriend now behind bars
Police make a second arrest in the murder of a local teenager. This time the victim's girlfriend is behind bars.
18 year old Adriana Rodriguez is charged with 1st degree murder for the death. Police say Rodriguez confessed to luring her boyfriend, 17 year old Maciel Vidella, to the people she knew were going to kill him. Another suspect, Alfredo Sotelogomez, was in court for Vidella's murder Friday. He's also charged with 1st degree murder. In December, Vidella was found stabbed to death in a canal. His body was found near U-S 441 and Heritage Farms Road, west of Lantana. Officials believe the murder was over a drug deal.
