LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - An audio-animatronic figure of
President Barack Obama is ready to make its debut at Walt Disney
World.
Disney's Hall of Presidents show will reopen this Fourth of July
with the new Obama figure, which was installed during an
eight-month makeover of the attraction. Seven figures, including
Obama, have been added to exhibit since it opened during Richard
Nixon's presidency.
Other updates to the exhibit include a reprogrammed Abraham
Lincoln, which will deliver the Gettysburg Address to audience
members, and a revamped George Washington figure. Washington will
stand and deliver a speech for the first time in the exhibit's
history.
Disney says audio for the new Obama figure was recently recorded
at the White House.
