South Bay man arrested for shooting BB gun at dogs, paralyzing one
Last Thursday, June 25th, a woman called Animal Care & Control Officers after she noticed that her dogs had blood on them, and one appeared to be paralyzed.
Animal Care and Control Officers, along with Palm Beach Sheriff's Deputies went to the home on Eilon Avenue in South Bay and learned that the woman got into an argument with Jeannot Sainteluss a month ago. Since that time, Sainteluss had allegedly been shooting his BB gun at the woman's dogs.
A veterinarian report stated that both dogs had numerous BB pellets in their bodies. One of the dogs injuries were so severe she had to be euthanized. The second dog is expected to survive.
Sainteluss was arrested today and charged with Felony Animal Cruelty. He is currently being held at the West County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
