Dramatic kitty rescue in Riviera Beach
Three dramatic rescues, caught on tape. Animal control workers pull three tiny kittens out of a pipe.
The kittens were less than a month old and were stuck in that pipe for at least a day in Riviera Beach.
These kitties were really no bigger than a pen they got caught in a steel pipe at a boat repair shop in Riviera Beach last night only this morning did someone hear their crieand the rescue wasn't easy.
"Apparently they've been here since yesterday."
Three baby kittens
"They're stuck in one end."
Stuck in this steel pipe.
"I tried to grab him with my fingers."
When that didn't work animal care and control got here this morning around 11.
"They're definitely distressed."
The less than one month old kitties just wouldn't come out
"Can't seems to turn around and get out."
Tt started getting scary because the meows started getting more faint...the rescue was getting harder.
"Any animal left outside in South Florida is got a limited time."
See the cats got in the pipe here then they got stuck here on this end and couldn't turn around the only option to cut the pipe in half, but it wasn't easy. First the blade bent. Then the worry was the new blade actually hurting the kitties inside. But after about an hour, they got 'em all three babies were rescued they were dirty, smelly and obviously stunned...but they were alive
"They will need to be warm and comforted just like I said barely a month old kittens so they need a mommy."
Because these kitties were so young animal care and control says there is some fear that they may not survive without their mom. If they do they will be up for adoption. Just give animal care and control a call.
