Treasure Coast mother and son have a taser fest

You can't make this stuff up. A shocking taser-fest went down between a Port St. Lucie mother and her son.

Thursday night Port St. Lucie police were called to a home on Pisces Terrace where a mother and her son got in quite a fight. The mother, Debra Beider, told police her son Matthew was drunk and became aggressive, so she tased him in the stomach.

Matthew Beider allegedly ripped the prongs out of skin, grabbed the taser off his mother, tased her in the elbow and kicked her in the legs, arms and stomach before punching her in the head.

Police arrested Matthew Beider, 23, who has previous domestic violence arrests on his record, and tossed him in the back of a squad car.

According to the police incident report, Matthew Beider told the police officer driving the car that he was, "going to kill him and someone else." He also repeatedly asked for the officer to pull the car over so they could have a proper fist fight.

The officer declined.
