Troubling new information in Amy Kern case
Comments 0 | Recommend 0It's a 7 page police report, filled with troubling new information about 30 year old Amy Kern. It turns out she is a very troubled young woman.
In the police report, several times she says she thought "she was Jesus." She also does confess to killing her grandmother and her aunt's boyfriend. The way this story happened reads like fiction.
The report starts off saying "she became paranoid that her fiance Andrew was going to come...to hurt her." "So she left and began driving to her fathers home in Port St Lucie." She advised that as she was driving she got it in her head that she was going to get a gun and shoot her father.
In the report, Amy says once she got to her father's home in Port St. Lucie he wasn't there so "she climbed into the house...and took her fathers gun."
The report then says Amy "was going both north and south on interstate 95 in a manic state." Police say in that time she shot at a car on I-95 and another car at a rest stop and they say right after that she killed her aunt's boyfriend in Palm Beach Gardens. She admits to that in this report, saying she "wanted to kill her (grandmother) because she has had a bad feeling about her all of her life."
Amy says in this report she took a tire iron like this one and used it to kill her grandmother. In the report she said "she just went off on her." A brutal beating where Amy says she "beat her grandmother repeatedly in the head with the tire iron." She sexually assaulted her grandmother Donna Kern with that weapon. Amy said the attack was "disgusting...it was the most brutal thing ever."
