SunTrust Bank in Hobe Sound Robbed - Suspect on Loose, Pictures now available
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Around 11:00 a.m.,the SunTrust Bank on SE Federal Highway in Hobe Sound was robbed.
Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’6” tall, 35 years of age, 130-150 lbs., dressed in all camouflage.
He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The male threatened to shoot the bank employees. The male fled the bank without any money after the alarm was sounded. The male ran through the bank parking lot to the Post Office parking lot to the rear of the bank. The male possibly fled in a newer model possible Toyota pick-up truck, glossy black in color with chrome wheels, thin tires, and dark tinted windows, with chrome tail pipes that came out the back and curved to the sides, temporary tag on the bumper. Deputies are currently conducting an investigation. No funds were taken from the bank and no injuries were reported.
