Craigslist Rape Arrest

Investigators say this man, 36-year-old Bruce Martin, impersonated an officer and raped and aspiring model.

They say Martin contacted the woman on Craigslist and offered to take modeling pictures of her.
He then reportedly used a fake police badge to get the woman into his car at their meeting point in Lantana.  Once inside his sports car police say Martin raped the woman at gunpoint.

She was able to get out of the car with the used condom in her hand.  She screamed to a maintenance worker for help but he didn't speak English. Another passer-by saw her barefoot and crying and stopped to take her back to her vehicle. She later identified Martin's car and picked him out of a photo lineup.

 Martin is behind bars and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
