Comments 0 | Recommend 0

CBS 12 NEWS

An unidentified man was struggling to stay alive Tuesday evening after an attempted robbery and shooting. It happened near the intersection of Gulfstream Road and Malaleuca Lane, near Lake Worth. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, a man and his girlfriend say three Hispanic men broke into their home and tried to rob the place. They shot the man twice in the stomach and left in a black vehicle.  The girlfriend drove the man to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis.  He was then rushed to Delray Medical Center in critical condition. Deputies continued processing the scene well into the night.  They are still looking for the suspects behind the shooting.
