Humane Society seeks toy and treat donations
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, HSVB & IRC, is asking for donations of toys and treats to help the shelter's dogs and cats. "Due to the economy, we've seen a decrease in the number of toys and treats donated," Animal Care Manager Maria Ramirez said. According to Ramirez, shelter dogs are hoping for contributions of treats, rawhides, rubber or squeaky toys to shelter dogs while shelter felines are eager to receive catnip, food treats and small cat toys.
Donations are gratefully accepted at the Humane Society, located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach, the Humane Society thrift shop in Vero Beach, located at 4445 20th St. or the Humane Society thrift shop in Sebastian, located at 441 Sebastian Blvd (Rt. 512). For more information call (772) 388-3331.
