Teacher turned porn star is now a model

A former high school teacher on the Treasure Coast who made headlines after she took a job as a bikini-mate on a fishing charter boat is back in the limelight once again.

Tiffany Shepherd, 32, was arrested this week and is now free on bond. Who can forget Tiffany Shepherd, the curvaceous school teacher who donned a bikini and went to work on a charter fishing boat and later worked as a porn star.

She was picked up this week on an arrest warrant for filing a false police report.

She called us today and to make sure we had the facts.

"I just wanted to clear up that I was arrested on Wednesday morning and I was bailed out on Wednesday afternoon," she said.

"I think it's ridiculous."

"If they don't drop it, I'll have a hearing on it. I didn't do anything wrong."

Tiffany says the charge stems from an incident last November, in which a woman who was stalking her approached her, in violation of a no-contact order.

Tiffany reported it to police, and she says they ended up charging Tiffany with filing a false police report.

"Even though she violated a no-contact order, I was arrested," she said. "I'm innocent."

Tiffany Shepherd also wants to make it clear that she no longer does porn, and only appeared in 7 or 8 films until she quit doing it in September. She went by the name "Leah Lust", and says she did it to support herself and her kids when she couldn't find a job.

"I mean it sounds kind of ridiculous. But that was such traumatic thing for me that I've tried, it's almost like when someone has a traumatic experience, they block it out. I don't go look at myself. You know, I don't care. I did it for the check, to take care of my kids."

Now Tiffany says things are looking up. She has a job as a clothing model and is working on a masters degree in curriculum and instruction.

And this "ex-teacher," who once had an "X-rated career," is trying to return to normal.

Shepherd says she spent about 2 hours in the Okeechobee County Jail Wednesday before being released on bond.

She told us she's getting married next month.
